In his first race in a PRTC singlet Ozzie Huerta raced to victory at the 10th annual Bone Run 5k. Ozzie fought off great performances byveteran racer (and PRTC alum) Eric Bonnette (3rd) and up and coming Penn Frosh Matt Chylak(2nd) to win in 15:40.

Three PRTC members participated in the Run the Bridge 10K held on November 1st. On the women’s side, Erin Fisher finished fourth overall with a time of 37:17. Tom Haxton finished 8th overall in the men’s division with a time of 31:27, while Pat Ward placed 12th with a time of 32:27.

On Sunday, September 6th Matt Byrne represented the USA at the 25th World Mountain Running Championship in Madesimo, Italy. Byrne completed the 13km course in 1:01:26; he was the 3rd runner for Team USA and placed 42nd overall in a tough field of 138 finishers. The USA finished sixth overall with 117 points. Pre the beagle was jubilant.
